Education and Qualifications

  • Hypnosis Credentials. I am an award winning Certified Master Clinical Transpersonal Hypnotherapist, NLP Practitioner and Certified 2nd Degree Reiki practitioner, certified by and a registered member of the National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists and the American Hypnosis Association.

  • Hypnosis Training. I was trained in Transpersonal Hypnotherapy, Advanced Hypnotherapy (Masters), and Spiritual Regression (Past Life and Life between Lives regression hypnosis) by Dr. Allen Chips, who worked with and assisted Dr. Michael Newton particularly in designing and facilitating training. Dr. Newton wrote "Journey of Souls" which popularized Life Between Lives Hypnosis.  I continue to hone my skills and pursue continued education (see list below) . 

  • Life Coaching Credentials. I am a Certified A.R.E. Professional Life Coach and NLP practitioner.

  • Energy Work Certifications. I am one of the first 50 to be trained and certified in Soul Link by the creator, Gary Sinclair. Note: Soul Link is the only method for neutralizing traumatic and troubling memories which has been found to be 100% effective in a medical peer review! https://lnkd.in/d9UnSrw  My Reiki lineage is only 7 levels away from the original Master Dr. Mikao Usui. Subsequent levels include: 2. Dr. Chujiro Hayashi, 3. Hawayo Takata, 4. Phylis Lei Furmoto, 5. Jeanne Greening, 6. Breck Bouchard and my instructor, 7. Dee Chips.

  • Higher Education. I have earned a BA in Criminology from the University of MD and an MA from Bowie State University in Counseling Psychology with a GPA of 4.0.  

  • Addictions. I hold a special certification in Addictions Hypnosis. I interned at an addictions center and continued to volunteer there until all my clients completed their treatment.  

  • Trauma and Crisis Intervention. I hold a special certification in Trauma Hypnosis.  I augmented my graduate studies with a course in Crisis Intervention at Johns Hopkins University. I also volunteered at a Crisis Hotline. 

  • Psychology.  In addition to my Masters in Counseling Psychology, I completed the 2-year post graduate certification program in Gestalt Psychotherapy with Dr. Rudy Bauer, PhD and Sharon Bauer, MSN, at the former Gestalt Institute of Washington DC, now known as the Washington Center for Consciousness Studies
