How does Transpersonnal Hypnotherapy work? Charles Fillmore knew:
"The superconscious mind lifts up, or regenerates, both the subconscious and the conscious,.." "The subconscious exists for the benefit of the conscious mind, but unless regenerated it thwarts the efforts of the conscious at every step, so that 'ye may not do the things that ye would'." Charles Fillmore, Keep a True Lent
This is one way to look at Transpersonnal Hypnotherapy, which joins body, mind and spirit to effect positive change. During this process, the hypnotist facilitates the conscious, subconscious, and superconscious to work together to allow the client to "do the things that ye would"
Now we know that one of the primary directives of the subconscious is to support and protect the body. So why is it that we have so much trouble breaking unhealthy habits? One reason may be that the subconscious, somewhere along the line, got the idea that this habit was helpful for the organism and so continues to see it that way. The subconscious needs to be "regenerated" or we may say reprogrammed in today's language. This is where transpersonal hypnosis steps in and joining with the client's higher power, reprograms the subconscious mind to help the client break the habit, release the blocks, and break free from those things--memories, old self-defeating emotional patterns, etc--that may seem to thwart our every effort to improve our life, to thrive and succeed, to be more of the person we are striving to be!
